Allright, I think I'll try to bend it without a tool first, and if it's too hard I'll try with a clamp.

Thx for the help/tips!

Well, if I was 100% sure I could do it without damaging the holder I would try to bend it.
Has anyone else successfully bended his brush holder? ;)

Wendell, when you use the skin food as a pre-shave (or aftershave), do you apply it on a wet face?

A friend of mine had the same problem a few weeks ago with a Derby blade he tried, we both thought it was strange, but this post confirms some Merkur blades were indeed not properly coated...
The thing is the blade he used came out of a 5-pack I have and the Merkur blade I tried didn't rust...

I think Barbicide is more difficult to find in Europe (I couldn't find some near where I live), personally I used 70% alcohol to sterlize/disinfect my SuperSpeed.

Tom, you are never going to believe this: I have a female Maine Coon named Satu (she is allmost 7 years old) and a male Ragdoll named Kashmir (he is 10 months old but in the meantime he became allmost as big as Satu  ), so it looks like our situation is a little bit similar ;) Here are some pic...

Hehe, Tom, I know the feeling ;)

So did Lori choose wich picture she would use to paint your cats or are the paintings a 'combination' of different pictures?

Either way: the paintings are beautiful!

Again: thanks a lot for the info!

Like Craig allready suggested in a topic I started a few weeks ago: it really seems Colonel Conk's Apothecary Mug is more a soap mug than a cream mug, 'cause when I use it to create lather (with shaving cream) the lather has a hard time staying in the bottom of the mug (which isn't very practical at...

Tom, This Georgetown Scuttle V3 is gorgeous! I have two cats myself, so I love the idea of having a personalized scuttle with my two cats drawn on it for only an extra $10 ;) I have a few questions though: - Could you tell me the dimensions of the scuttle? - Does the lather stay in the scuttle witho...

It is indeed re-branded Proraso soap. It's great stuff, and I find it smells a lot better than the cream. David, so the Omega soap (in the black tub) smells better than the Omega cream? Would you say the Omega soap also smells better than the (green) Proraso cream/soap (I wonder if that's the case ...

Next to our bathroom counter we have a wall shelf. 3/4 of the space used to be 'owned' by my sister. But then I started with this 'hobby'... :) First I asked her to give me one more shelf (at that time I only had one shelf, so two were more than needed) to put my shaving gear on, but recently even w...

Michael, thx for the post!
I am one of the people who asked for such a list, so thx for the effort! :)

As for the Tiger and Zorrick reviews: I don't mind the broken images, so as far as I'm concerned you can add them to the list ;)
