I too have been hit and miss with the gems. I just got a G bar that I haven't tried yet, so I'm hoping I have more luck with that one.

I'm another one who has problems with face sensitivity. When I first started wetshaving I couldn't face lather at all. My face would feel bad before I even did the first pass. I was using a cheap, very scritchy best badger brush. Eventually I got a Kent BK4 that is super soft and now I can face lath...

Man, I agree with you on the no ebay luck thing. I can't seem to get anything. I think I'm actually going to give up on it since it bums me out. Glad you had such a good karma wheel turn.

Gillette 7 o'clock's in a green package. I'm curious too if they are the same as the yellow packaging. They say 'super stainless' instead of 'sharp edge'.

By the way- There is a mentholated Godrej. The packaging is blue and it's called 'menthol mist'. I really like it. It lathers great and is a menthol bomb like Ingram, but it has it's own scent that is very pleasant. I get it at my local Indian grocery for cheap.
