God I'm gonna sound boring after all the posts above, but it's Trumpers for me also, in fact it's the only Coconut cream that I rotate now...top draw.

Like some above already mentioned the tug is the first indicator, but I just sense it's not going to be a good shave, so time to change blades.

This is normally a good time to rotate to another brand for me anyway.

I have to admit I dont go in for measurements with brushes, I just try them and if I like them I keep them.

Like Wendell I have 2 Badgers, a Chubby 2 and a BK8 and these seem to fit most scenarios for me whether its cream, soap or croap.

Not much of a collection but I'm happy......

Me too, I'm down to 2 razors and 3 blade types currently. I will probably stay this way.....................unless the Swede's come back into production.

I just pinched myself and woke up.

Could be true, I live in South east England and the water is rated a medium in terms of hardness for our country, yet I find that Proraso lathers and shaves really well for me at least. Both the eucalyptus and Sandlewood versions both perform great. Having said that I have travelled through Europe i...

Is it complacency ?
You get your technique spot on after the long journey and you say to yourself, that's it another milestone in the bag but before you know it crap shaves start to set in
The focus has all gone

It's only my opinion but this happens to me from time to time

Mine arrived this week (Took 2 weeks from Turkey..oh well) and really pleased with it. Like the scent mild to medium mint, lathers great and most of all the icy wake up in the morning feeling, really fresh. Excellent value I believe. My wife cleaned her teeth with it one morning didn't even realise :D
