You are right, it does contain MSG, but it is naturally occurring. I thought you meant it was added. The naturally occurring stuff is the most voluminous. I shower, using hair conditioner on my stubble to soften it. Then I get out and put proraso pre-shave on because I've found it helps protect my skin no matter what cream I use. I also find that it makes the management of the shaved dross in the sink easier. that, and the chilling is fun.
