I found after a comparison with a Mach 3, using Palmolive Brushless Shave Cream, the Trac II gave me...

Tripletrac

Just caught a commercial on one of the first Saturday Nights, George Carlin host. It was for the Tripletrac, a 3 blade variation on the trac 2. Gillette must have been watching. The best was the punchline "because you'll believe anything".

There was a '58 sold on Ebay a few days ago for $53. This was for the razor only, which was described as" shiny.no scratches, no brassing, nothing bent, I can see nothing wrong with this razor". The pictures of the razor were crystal clear and indeed reinforced the veracity of the copy. As...

MOLLE

I used Molle brushless cream in the 60's and 70's. Great stuff. Does anybody know if the product is still being made, and if so, who has it?

When I first show the Mach 3 Power I thought that Gillette was trying to make the electric shavers fell at home. My second thought was the commercial of the guy with his pager in his front trouser pocket set on vibrate who kept calling himself. I than remembered that the military was swapping out th...

I decided I wouldn't post till I could decipher all the acronyms without a crib sheet, and most importantly, not till after I dragged a D E across my face. I used an HD powered with an Iridium blade and I put down the Proraso surface lube with a Rooney 1/1 applicator. The first pass WTG and the seco...

Bill.... I thought it was normal to "acquire" an HD, HD BP and a 40's SS before I even got my first blade sampler. Not to worry, I successfully survived a Golf Club AD.

Glad to be back

After a month of listening, learning, watching and acquiring. I pulled the trigger on my first satisfying shave in 29 years. It was a simple 2 pass effort that reinforced that I have acquired some really, really bad habits. :( Looking forward to a lot of practice and happy to be a part of the forum.
