find people that you want to "follow" and you get to see their Twitters, which are based on the question "what are you doing?" So... It's basically just a socially accepted form of stalking? You know you'd be concerned the moment these people stopped using a computer to sa...

I feel compelled to find time to sit down and watch the entire series from beginning to end (not in the same day) before I'll let myself watch the movie... I know... It's not necessary... I just don't like watching movies like that without getting all the inside references and really understanding t...

Living in my part of Ontario my experience has been that regulating alcohol is a waste of time and money because nobody enforces the laws. Our government run liquor stores in this city do nothing to encourage the responsible sale of alcohol. Half the time the stores don't card you when you're undera...

The almond/olive oil and vinegar seems to have worked! But that oil can be difficult to get out... I did mix the oil 50/50 (measured) and tried not to use much... Sort of inconvenient, but it worked, and it seems I can get away with using shampoo when I don't have time to do the vinegar rinsing. Tha...

A professor was giving a lecture on involuntary muscle contractions in the human body to his last year medical students. About half way through the lecture the professor realized that his class was slowly falling asleep on him. Trying to bring some excitement to the lecture, he pointed to a woman si...

You could advertise for a guy with the same problem on the opposite feet I suppose. I like that idea  The prices on the Hersey site actually looked pretty reasonable for custom made. You could find more expensive store bought if you looked, that's for sure. I'll be sure to get in touch with ot...

The last pair I owned was a pair of New Balance... I went to a specialist athletics store which ONLY carried New Balance (they had like 3 makes from other companies). Tried on pretty much everything they had and either they were too narrow, or I had too much heel slippage. I wore the wrong siz...

With all the sick, perverted, and ultra-violent content on the internet that goes ignored and unregulated (ie. Anyone have shoe-fitting troubles like mine?

I'm looking for a pair of running shoes or cross trainers. I just need something I can wear for sports or physical activities. The problems are my measurements. For length, I take an 8.5 on one foot, 7.5 on the other. For width, I take somewhere around a size 11 wide. Then I've got narrow heels... I...

If you're looking for something that will wash you, soap is a great choice. If you're looking for something to exfoliate, try putting a bit of sugar into a liquid soap (I'd tend to think it would just dissolve inside bar soap+water lather). I don't personally use this, but I've heard it being used a...

Plenty of people are moving in with their parents these days. With the cost of school more people are deciding to stay at home until they have any debts paid off and until they have a nice financial cushion to move out on. The rising trend made it to the news last year. Plenty of highly qualified gr...

The biggest problem with any computer is usually its user, not its software. The biggest problem for software companies is that the user can rarely comprehend this. A computer with internet access is a powerful machine, and many functions we think are simple are actually very complex and pose potent...

I think sometimes the fact that they don't understand certain situations helps kids to cope with some of life's unfortunate facts better than adults. They seem to live in the moment and take things as they come so it doesn't bother them constantly like it would an adult until it's actually brought t...

You don't have to risk your life and dodge bullets to help your country. Plumbers, garbage men, janitors, teachers, librarians, writers, artists and construction workers all perform their roles in society that make the country what it is, and allow it to function as it does, and without them our cou...

There's tricks out there to maintain lucid dreaming states, which is kinda cool but sounds like a lot of work. That being said, I'm fairly certain most of it is based on meditation techniques, so nothing too freaky. lol. You can also develop daily habits and reactions that will help you become awar...

I dream about water and fish a lot.

Sometimes I also get the ability to make myself float. I wouldn't call it flying, it's more like just making myself lighter than the air.

I've been able to breath underwater a few times also.
