I have a small cardboard box under the sink. I used to have the acquisition disorders, but over a few years I had used up the soaps, and pared down on the razor collection. I only have 3 brushes (all shavemac), about 5 DE razors - 3 of which I use, and a tub o TOBS Avocado and puck of Tabac. I'm cur...

I only have the II. I have used it only a handfull of times, I fear for the olive wood handle. Even coated it twice for protection. I am envious of the people who got the SMF I. The Cocobolo handle makes for an absolutely gorgeous brush. edit: A quick google search, http://www.joeswoodstuff.com/shav...

Well, I think that would depend on a lot of things. Here in humid Houston, TX, I can use whatever A/S I want. I normally use Aqua Velva, and I have no problem at all with my face drying out.

This "alochol = bad" thing seems to have been around since American Psycho came out in theatres.

I find the scent to be quite nice. It certainly smells better to me (and most importantly, to the gf) on my face than in the bottle. Give it a shot. Also, it's efficacy as an aftershave can't be beat. I just tried it for the first time myself this weekend after wetshaving for 3 years now trying any ...

Re: Another BIC-convert.

Well Carl, why don't ya just keep that pretty Futur in the stand as a display, and keep the BICs hidden away in your toothpaste drawer? :) I´ve progressed a lot with my DE-shaving for a couple of years. DE:s are a lot better than any of the multi blade crap razors out there. However, I always had th...

I couldn't tell you. I didn't give up vegetables once I took Trib. I'll give this warning though, it is best to cycle it. 5 days on and 2 days off or more. And watch the temper! One bad thing about Trib is it can lead to a very short fuse.

Best of luck Bryce. If you haven't heard of him, Dr. Linus Pauling had some very interesting things to say regarding heart disease. Check out his book "How to Live Longer and Feel Better". Essentially, he had found great success in clearing blockages by taking massive doses of Vitamin C an...

You can try to take some Tribulus supplement. It's known to make your hair grow pretty fast, and seems to be all the rage on the world beard championship forums (seriously). I take it personally for energy to work out and sexual enhancement. Do a little research and see if you might like it. iherb.c...

I'm also very skinny and looking to put on weight. Since I quit smoking for good in December, this has gotten much easier for me. But, here are a few things I like to keep in mind that help me.. Cottage cheese at night before bed is a great, slow digesting source of protein. Bananas and milk are als...

No, I want something made by one of the wonderful soapmakers present on SMF. I don't want KMF, or Mitchell's, or anything else, I want Will G's shea butter formula. If I remember correctly, sometime last year, or perhaps before, Sue, or another one of our soapers was working on attempting to clone t...

For all the SMF soapers out there...

I have a question... I am running dangerously low on the stockpile I had of Will G's shea butter shaving soaps that I had stocked up on right before his passing. I was wondering whose soaps come the closest to his shea butter formulation, as I found them to be the best shaving soaps I have ever trie...

Hrm, they cook just as fast as instant for me. I just boil some water in the kettle and pour over the oats. They can't take longer than a minute. Perhaps I'm eating them too raw/uncooked....but they taste perfectly fine to me.

I prefer steel cut oats to oatmeal now. Let's just say, they help you keep your woman happy if you know what I mean. Also, I stopped taking multivitamins and replaced with chlorella and spirulina algae. I have never felt better in my life since I started supplementing with algae, and plan on replaci...

I'm going to order some French green clay from a bulk herb wholesaler. I'm going to go ahead and either just mix it with plain old water or rose water from the middle eastern grocer. Doubt I need a 'hydrosol'. Doubt I need a mask in the first place, my skin is fine, but hey, green clay for 5 bucks a...
