Learn stretching techniques!

Example: When I shave my neck, I tilt my head back as far as I can (if I open my eyes, I see the ceiling), so, I am unable to see myself shave in the mirror - This type of stretch makes the skin on my neck flat, thus a closer shave.

Hey guys, my computer is in the shop (I am posting on my iPod Touch).

I shaved my head this morning with my DE (big mistake) followed by my MACH 3.

I need advice on where to buy a headblade.

Thanks guys!

Thanks for the helpful review, Craig.

But as we all know, a razor should not need to vibarate or shine a spotlight (other uses come to mind, and shaving is not one of them)! :o

I think Dave's flashlight razor is a more interesting idea. :)

Welcome to SMF, Joe.

I suggest reducing your shaves to two passes (that's what I do).

The oil protects your skin! :o

Twice a day? That's nuthin! I've shaved twice the same morning. (True, the first shave was in China and the second was in California, so about 20 hours had passed, but it was still Saturday morning. Come to think of it, by the clock, my second shave was 2 hours before my first one.) Ahhhh, a time-t...

A good pair of barber's scissors is what I have.

I used to have a look similar - I like switching up from time to time. 8)

As for the curves, using the edge of an ordinary razor like the MACH 3 is very easy if you are careful.

That video made me cringe the way he applied the shaving cream - it looked painfully dry and his face looked downright horrible.

No doubt he made a fool out of himself.

That's why we have Mantic - someone who knows how to shave properly and demonstrates accordingly.

That kid is not old enough to know better.

In the interests of balanced information, I asked Gillette for a rebuttal, and this is what they wrote back: "The Fusion is a SHAVING SYSTEM that provides a SHAVING EXPERIENCE. This is utterly and absolutely different from the pathetically old-fashioned, obsolete, out-of-date 'razor' that in y...

Some folks in here will suggest shaving with a DE every single day.

I am one of those individuals who did not follow that advice.

I alternate between my MACH 3 and the DE.

I strongly suggest alternating because to learn the DE requires a disciplined skill.

From what I understand of Mantic's video on blade buffing is that it means shaving a tiny area a number of times repeatedly. That means a significant though local increase of passes... I think I'll pass for this idea :) Actually, blade buffing is the last resort. I got better results from the J-Hoo...

You might also consider trying J-hooking and/or the Gillette Slide. I am slowly learning and am experiencing better shaves each time. I like your approach. I...
