If it smells like the cream, think a less musky T&H 1805 with a stronger Aquatic note (assuming you’ve sampled 1805). It is a modern type aquatic scent that is quote pronounced when in the cream form. The cologne has a nice staying power as well. I like the scent enough to use it 2-3 times a mo...

I recently purchased a fresh tub of Cella to give it a whirl. As with Chris, I found the rancid scent to be absolutely appalling, so I tossed it. I did keep the cool red tub, though. The endorsements of P160 are encouraging. Think I'll give it a try. Regards, I too found an odd scent with the Cella...

I'm a recent user of the soft Italian soaps, and, no, I'm not responsible for any shortage of P160. The P160 Tipo Duro is wonderfully scented, with the marzipan/marchpane/lozina/massepain etc smell very strong, sweet and edible. Cella, gives as good, or better, lather, but smells like somethi...

Well done Peter, the 2201 is the best value for money brush I've got, I love using it.

Looking forward to your next brush, more of the same but with a bigger knot?

cheers

Just tried one in my Slant tonight, and it gave a great shave in two passes.
Aye, the old ones were Czech made and the new ones are Russian. Excellent and slightly less excellent. Both good blades.

Red box with gold writing in English and French sounds like a Vulfix.

Not heard of a 1004A but they do a 1000A.

I'll use a cartridge occasionally when travelling, so I got one of the Sensor handles from Trumpers thanks to Ben's info. They are really nice, well made with a heavy metal handle. A bargain at only £10 each. 8)

I had a google, I don't have an 11C but it looks like it's a 2 piece so no chance of changing the handle. Go for the 15C or 25C.

Gary

I know that 25C is definitely an open comb 3 piece and other handles like the Jagger fit no problem.

How about this one?

Although I'm in the UK and found a cheap Merkur 3 piece like the 42 or 33C is the best deal. Is the 11C not a 2 piece?

The Lasers I tried from Wilkinsons were made in India and 39p for a five pack. I didn't like them, in fact they were one of the worst blades I've tried.

Apparently there is a Laser Ultra available on ebay from India. These are supposed to be better but I haven't tried them.

I'm not sure if these French Swedes are exactly the same as the Surrey or Stockholm blades I've tried before but the shave today was superb.

Well these blades seem to be the same as the Stockholm and Surrey blades I have tried. It will be interesting to hear other opinions, I can't find anything about the Q3 blades that Ben found earlier this year.

cheers

I'm sure Ben had a picture of some 10 packs in one of the threads when he was selling them earlier this year. These blades have Annecy as the first address on the back and a V3 code on the blade itself, similar to the Q3 blades that Ben was selling. What was the verdict on those Q3 blades? cheers Pete

I think those Laser blades are made in India.
Wilkinsons (the UK shop chain) sells packs of 5 for about 40p. I didn't think much of the one I tried.
