I had an uncomfortable shave with a fresh Derby, but subsequent shaves were much smoother. I'd also say the iKon is one of my top two razors.

I don't know if that's similar to the men-u synthetic brush, Michael. I'm sure I read somewhere that the men-u is manufactured by Omega. I've had no problems at all with the men-u brush. Yeah, I was surprised at how good this is. And the smell is absolutely delicious. To my mind it's as good as the Creightons creams, just different.
