I don't have severe acne now (I used to) but I find that shaving with a DE keeps my face cleared up and looking healthier. I imagine has something to do with the razor cutting off a small layer of skin .

It is true- I can shave in the morning and the evening. A luxury now, before I discovered SMF it was a nightmare.
