WTT: Feather Artist Club...

I have several razors and decent soaps to trade if someone has a Feather AC laying around that they are not using. Slim Adjustable, Red Tip, Merkur "Sledgehammer (used less than 20 times)." Kent in the wooden bowl (MWF, used under five times), D. R. Harris Marlborough in the oak bowl (85% ...

an inexpensive cologne, is long lasting like Clubman?

Hi folks,

Is there an inexpensive cologne, similar to Clubman in scent, that is also long lasting?

Thanks

If the opportunity is still available, I would love to give it a read (and pass it on, as well). :)

WTB: Method shaving/Hydrolast products...

I am interested in obtaining some Hydrolast products to give Method shaving a serious effort. If you have anything that does not suit you, please let me know.

Dave, in my case the reason to switch would be for a possibly cleaner, faster shave at less cost. I get a near-perfect shave with my Fusion with no aftereffects, but it takes four passes, and the cartridges run me about $200 per year. The savings come too, if you don't get hung up in all of the ass...

Since joining this forum, I’ve thought of buying a Merkur to make the DE/cartridge comparison myself. I’ve no doubt that in the hands of a skilled shaver, a DE works as well as, if not better than, a cartridge. But it would take weeks or months for my brain and my hand to learn the proper technique...

I, too, have fallen hard for MWF with an Omega '49 brush. It's an incredible combination. For me, there is just nothing like it!
