Great shave. Took Sunday off & pulled out the HD this AM. I love the Feather as a daily driver but its hard to beat a 'classic' like the 34c for 2 or more days of heavy growth.

Kinda like the Astra blade. So cheap but it cuts really well.

Like Scott, I too felt the Rooney Finest too scrubby, almost painful. I am a big fan of the two band Thaters that are now available. At first I thought them to be too soft but they have great backbone and produce as much or more rich lather than most brushes out there.

Lynn, good to see you around again. I have never used the cream but also enjoy the Ultimate Comfort balm. My first time using it and it soothes and is non greasy and great for the cold climates we live in. I could see it not working on a hot day in Florida though.
