After I finish my shave, I rinse with hot and then cold water. After the cold, I use the alum block, which I then pat dry. After a few minutes, I use Thayer's. Why would not use my Futur, outside of an occasional SE shave? I've found a good razor and I'll stick with it. Even some of my relatives, whom I've turned onto "Futur", swear by it.

I used a Gillette and then went and ordered a Futur. I found the Futur to be superior. Fiven that I'm so happy with my Futur, why would I want to mess with a Vision, especially with the potential maintenance problems?
