I will spray on an aftershave and them put 4 drops of oil in my palm with some water and rub the oil over...

I find that my Aristocrat is a mild shaver, maybe like a 4-5 setting on my heavy adjustable. But that may be just what you need for your face, beard, technique. However my Aristocrat is easily the best looking of the bunch.

Welcome to one of mans' little gifts to himself. I also started with an adjustable set to a low setting. I now set it to 7 and down to 4 for touch ups.

It stinks? It smells like money. That said I like Tom's shave creams and I hope they don't screw with the products.

I haven't seen a gold adjustable before now, and I just saw three of them at the same time! I have a HD silver adjustable that is my go-to razor.

Checked out the nearest superTarget today. They were still re-organizing their shelves with no Poraso to be seen.

I'm not sure but Home Depot type places might sell aluminum channel. The metal is easy to drill though you need at least a .5 inch drill. My Aristocrat and HD adjustable won't fit the holes in mine.

I grabbed some aluminum c-section at work and had our machinist drill a row of holes down one side with a shallow spotface opposite from the holes to help steady the razor handles. http://www.shavemyface.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10594/normal_Razor0001.jpg http://www.shavemyface.com/gallery/albums...

I also followed the recomendations here and ordered a stainless neti pot. I expect it to arrive this week. I'm in good overall health and haven't been sick in years. However I have had persistant stuffiness that I hope to relieve with the neti pot.
