Late to the party but hey ho. I like them, both personally (as much as one can without meeting them) and as a concept. An apolitical head of state is a good idea, and our Queeny does a superb job. I think Charles will settle in and become less outspoken once crowned (I am certain he will take it up)...

Thermowood is reputed to not absorb water, and so will not swell or crack, Though I have never used one, so could not comment myself.

For a board populated by people who crave refinement in their colognes and scented products, I am surprised to see Marmite garner such praise, the stuff tastes about as awful as it looks.

Yes, I would not be surprised if in a few of the other affluent areas of London there a few Chemists like this. Gordon, if you ever do get over here, there would be plenty of shops to keep the wife happy around there. Also, I'm sure many of the London members would you keep you well supplied with dr...

Andrew's Pharmacy

I recently discovered this place while ambulating down Sloane Street, right next to Pickett. I was quite surprised to find on my exit from unsuccessfully trying to buy gloves, several colossal sponges, nearly 2 foot across, caught my eye. Thus intrigued, I had a closer look, and saw they stock Rodge...

Unforgivable, do they're nails really grow so quickly they could not wait a few hours before they get home?

The narration in the video says molten lead quite clearly, do you think they were taking artistic license? Knowing only little bit about metallurgy, it is not immediately apparent to me why heating in lead would be superior to any other method of heating. Possibly Pb atoms could diffuse into surface...

Chap, Have you ever tried asking them to do at least two full passes? I think that T&H does, and in any case, it's your shave, you're paying quite a lot for it and at least you should get a fairly decent shave. Regards, Gordon They normally tell me that the skin on my neck is somewhat damaged, ...

I get shaves fairly regularly at Trumpers (Jermyn street branch, now just off Jermyn street). The service is excellent, the people very friendly, but the shave is somewhat lacking. Normally Skin food, hot towel, lather, shave, hot towel, skin food, cold towel, cologne. It's relaxing, and luxurious, ...

On the bright side, at least they are sticking to their guns and not just selling whatever rubbish they can get hold of in the mean time, as we have seen with several products in the past when they changed manufacture.

I would keep the same cream, same number of passes, same prep, same number of days between shaves. All these things could effect the wear on the razor. Storing your razor in the same place, using blades from the same run, should both be considered. Being a scientist, I am no doubt pedantic, but it p...

A generous splash on the back of the neck is a great way scent to walk out the door with, nothing is fresher.

The large glass cologne bottle still has the vague phrase on the bottom of the label. They are right about a few drops in the bath, it really makes an impression in the humid atmosphere.

I shaved with this today. The scent is much stronger than one would expect of a soap, perhaps on the same level as the rose scented soap, or even stronger. The scent is true to the EdT. The performance is superb, as would be expected. If I ever manage to narrow down my soaps to just a small stable, ...
