Sam, I'm not sure how tied to a pure breed you are but I would highly recommend rescuing a dog. Some pure breeds have rescue societies. You pay much less, you give a deserving dog a home and you don't encourage puppy mill. If you go to the pound you rescue an animal who maybe put to death for no mor...

Manhattan Blended Whiskey Sweet Vermouth and Dash of Angostura Bitters 2:1 of Whiskey: Vermouth works well for me but this can vary. Stir with Ice and pour in a lowball class with ice or without. No cherry for me. Make sure you keep your vermouth cold. We store ours in the fridge. It has really help...

Never was that big a fan of gin, and I've never tried Hendricks, but one I do like is Gordon's gin. Cheap, plentiful where I live, it's my go to well gin.

Go with Jerrie's: cheaper and better. If you drink enough you get a tattoo! Of course that's true with most alcohols at or above 92 proof.

This has happened to a few friends of mine back in high school, although they were siphoning off vodka and replacing it with water. When it froze the parents figured it out pretty quick. What happened to you Doesn't seem quite right unless you're getting bad stock.

Chris, wedding is at 5pm. She's on the fence and is as indecisive as I. Hmm, hinge time. IF you've already got the black dinner jacket you are duty bound to wear a hand-tied black bow tie with black cummerbund. A vest and tie in my opinion is just not right. Although a black waistcoat, might be acc...

Yeah, it's not the best option (moving back in) but it's free and my parents and I get along well. Although I have set a 6 month window. They may not know that yet, but I do.

Y'all have given me plenty to think about. I love hearing all these ideas.

Steve, I'm well aware of the regulations, thank you. I'd like you to do some the workouts I've done and then tell me you don't have trouble breathing. Jukkie (or anyone else), You sound exactly like my parents, I'm just not sure what to do about finding this said niche. Danny, I looked into nursing ...

Chaps- From everything I've read (I even looked up the DoD standard) it is all forces, I'm not sure about reserves but I assume what goes for active goes for reserves. Same in the national guard. I think the Coast Guard is way to small, there's no impetus for quota, Navy's looking better. Torz, Your...

Job Advice (and a vent)

Gentleman I could use some of your sage wisdom, Today I went to the Coast Guard recruiter to look into their OCS program, it would be perfect for me. 5 years of guaranteed pay, insurance and housing with great leadership experience and a chance for a lifetime job, not to mention I would be serving m...

The older the Port the better. But of course this makes it more expensive. Sauternes is another one but I've never had it, generally desert wines are sweeter and higher alcohol. Something doesn't have to be labeled dessert wine for it to meet these requirements. Maybe champagne to cut the dessert, i...

I've always used Henckel's Professionals. Stainless steel, takes a great edge and cuts like butter. I'll not use anything else. My dad is partial to Cutco but I've never been a big fan, the hollow ground blade means you can't sharpen it at home. And the advice to get it professional sharpened is goo...

My reasons for getting a fake depend largely on my economic status. I'm a 22 year old college student with no sure career path, I'd like a nice watch but I don't have 20,000 extra dollars lying around to drop on a Breguet, an A. Lange & Sohne or something else in that top echelon. If you can recomme...
