Misc colognes and stuff
SOLD!! I have a handful of liquids.. I would like to sell this as a lot. Hopefully the pic shows the remaining levels. The Taylor is nearly full as is the St James. The Kiehls is about 1/8 full. I'm pricing as a sample lot. Someone throw a $20 and a $10 in an envelope and we can call it good. The li...

Re: Your best concert experience
Steely Dan at Auburn Hills. Y2K Tour Supporting the "Two Against Nature" album. I can't think of anywhere I would have rather been that night. Amazing.

Re: Penultimate
Yeah, it's not a commonly used word, I was just kinda goofing around the other day and wondered. The subject came up in conversation when a man I work with used "decimate" to describe a complete wipe out of his parts stock. He, being a good friend, and me, being a smart ass.. I had to let ...

Penultimate
Penultimate. A word seldom used and usually misused. I know what it means but I have a question. If penultimate means roughly "second to last" and you have only two of something, for example a concert series with two performances; is the first concert also the penultimate? I can't see me e...

Pit Barrel Cooker
I frequent a barbecue site called AmazingRibs.com. It's run by a guy called Meathead Goldwyn. Anything you can think of is on the website. I was looking for a smoker a couple of years ago, and checked Meathead's recommendations. I was drawn to the Pit Barrel Cooker. I've had it a couple of years now...

Re: What I learned in 7 years away from the shaving forums
The most important thing I learned is that it's much cheaper to be afflicted with shaving acquisition disorders than with guitar and amplifier acquisition disorders. I have to agree. I've gotten myself in trouble on more than one occasion with the wife..lol GAS is much more expensive. I don't post ...

I sure did forget... They were #68 which is mandarin, violet leaf and vintage leather and #48 which is kaffir lime, rock moss and sandalwood. I just got the whole tubes. My daughter in law is my distributor.

Scentsy
My daughter in law is a Scentsy distributor. Scentsy just recently came out with a small line of men's stuff. I tried the shave cream and I can report that I got a very good shave. Nice fragrances and good cushion, slickness and richness. Very pleased. I'm pretty sure you need to have a distributor ...

Turkey has been producing some top notch shotguns for many of the big guys for years. I wouldn't balk one bit at buying a handgun produced in Turkey.

Re: We are very fortunate
Yes, we're quite fortunate and it wouldn't have happened without the internet. Thank you Al Gore.. *** sarcasm*** Yes, I for one would still have razor burn and irritation from shaving. This forum especially has given my face a new lease on life. The wealth of products available to us is pretty end...

Re: New handguns
Too, it wouldn't surprise me if a US manufacturer steals the importation of them from Century, and raises the price $150, along with the price of magazines. There's $ to be made since the gun is easily worth more that todays purchase price. Yep! It has happened at least in one case, the Springfield...

Proraso Pre Shave
I have to admit complete ignorance.. Am I using this stuff right? I'm in the shower, I wash my face, then I rub this in for a bit, rinse it off. Then get out, lather up and shave.
Am I doing this right?
