I don't have nearly the collection some of you folks have, but I have 3 that I mostly use: 1) Super Adjustable: I'm on a kick with this one--been using it exclusively for about a month now. Gives a great shave when set to 9. 2) Sheraton: open comb TTO--what's not to like? A few shaves with this love...

Still enjoy Ballantine IPA, even though it was around before the micro-brewery explosion. There's better, probably, but it's been around forever.

It wouldn't be as bad if they weren't leaving the meat to rot. And frankly, a theme for a video showing a guy plugging away at fleeing animals with a high-powered rifle in a helicopter should not be "Bad to the Bone." Leave that one for the guy jumping from the copter with a Mora.

Just got a bunch of the Swedish Supersteels from Phil today (Thanks for the usual great service, Phil!), and couldn't resist trying one out. Yep, bought the hundred without trying them out first, since there are enough guys around here that I've shown the light where I knew they would get used even ...

Tucker, I'm using Astra SPs and getting great results for myself.

Is there a modern razor that compares to a Sheraton?

I don't have a lot of razors, since I have a habit of giving them out to younger guys to try out. But I recently bought a Sheraton via Etsy, and I think that this razor is the one. It's about the same weight and size as a 40's SuperSpeed (I have a Milord version), except it's open-comb. That combina...

I like Arko, but I'm not really a stick guy.

These soaps are cheap, but there is value in the next tier up as well. More initial outlay for sure, but they seem to last longer, especially compared to VDH.

Just my observation, take it for what it's worth. :)

Thanks for these. I believe I might like to look through your record collection/iPod playlist sometime. Tom Waits is already a favorite, but thanks to you and, subsequently, Google, I may have a couple more. Regards, Glad you like them, Tim. I've always thought it a sin that Thin White Rope never b...

I voted Speick; but the odd thing is that I while it lathers great and smells better, I rarely reach for it. I'm really not sure why.

Ok, just mixed some up, 3 oz. Using the prices from a local Wegman's, I calculated that those three ozs cost me about $.19/oz. 2 oz WH @ .13/oz (16 oz=$1.99) 1 oz Aloe @ .21/oz (16 oz=$3.49) 5 drops clove @ .02/drop (.5 oz=$5.49) .57 total or ~ .19/oz It should last me around 3 months, and if not, t...

This summer I was using straight, generic witch hazel to kill any razor burn I might have had. But usually I mix witch hazel and aloe gel. I'll vary the proportions to the season; using more aloe in the winter than summer. In the winter, I also add clove essential oil, since I love the smell, and it...

Surprised to see so little love for the Bolzanos — I love that blade. The worst I've ever used are two Chinese brands — Flagfish and Bluebird. Atrocious. +1 on Bluebirds. Even if I somehow manage to not cause lacerations, I get razor burns worse than some sunburns I've experienced. Miserable things...

Hard soaps: Klar Kabinett or MWF. But I wouldn't dismiss Cella.

I have DR Harris Marlborough, and just don't get the appeal. For whatever reason, I've never gotten a good shave with that product. But I'm glad for you guys that can.

Officials have not yet ruled out suicide, and adult film producer Dexter Yamunkeh's comments — in which he intimates that Foster may have cracked under the pressures of being the world's leading Gordon Ramsay-lookalike-sex-dwarf — certainly don't invalidate the possibility: The world's second leadi...
