A little off the subject, but related, I seem to recall that Nancy Boy used to offer free shipping on orders of $25 or over, at least in the US. Last I checked, that's been upped to $50. Also, they used to be renowned for including free samples with every order; I've actually received full-sized mo...

WTB: Merkur HD
Nevermind. Cotton Blossom Crafts is having a sale on Merkur razors, and I was able to pick up an HD for $25.

I, myself, prefer the Futur to any other razor. I've seen the complaint about the loading mechanism, but I don't get it. To me, it couldn't be easier to change the blade. You just hold it in one hand, turn it so you can put your thumb on it, and push the top off. I don't see how it's much different ...

Package Deal!!! (Includes Gem Micromatic) - Updated Price
I'm cleaning out some stuff and have several items I'd like to get rid of. I'd prefer to throw everything into one box and ship to one person for convenience. $25 shipped in the U.S. for the whole lot. Gem Micromatic - good condition Gem Blades - 9 Sharps Barber Brigade Mint Kick Quick Dry Aftershav...

I'm going to be the odd man out here. I use what would probably be considered a rare combination of a Futur with the Walmart Personna blades. In my Futur, I have also used Feather, Derby, Merkur, Israeli Personna, and Euro Gillettes. While each blade seems to have unique characteristics, I have foun...

I saw some new shaving products at Walmart the other day from http://www.mooreunique.com/#. Has anyone heard of this stuff or tried it?

Help...dry skin, breaking out, sunscreen, technique?
Proceed to last paragraph for the short story. Here's the deal. My skin tends to be on the dry side. If I use a light lotion or balm, my face feels usually feels tight, irritated, etc. It also seems to breakout when using a light or oil-free moisturizer. I was using a cream with sunscreen that does ...

If I could suggest a great product for you it would be Baxter of California face wash. It's a very mild cleanser, but quite effective. I agree. The Baxter face wash does a good job cleaning but doesn't dry your face out. I've always noticed that when my face is dry I tend to break out more. Wheneve...

I can certainly agree with the logic. I've had problems with shaving and acne for quite some time. I got to thinking the same thing about the razor harboring bacteria, but not just the cartridges, any razor. Not long ago, I started washing my face AFTER shaving, which has made a huge improvement. YM...

Anyone been to the Grooming Lounge for a shave?
I'll be in DC in a couple of weeks and was wondering if anyone had experienced the Grooming Lounge Hot Lather Shave with a Mach 3. I'm curious about it, but a little apprehensive about them taking an M3 to my face.
