I guess I will have to try a half hollow or wedge one of these days. But I'm really liking it at the other extreme. I've got a Boker 4/8 extra hollow that I like the feel of even more than the full hollows I have.

Williams was my only soap for years. It fits precisely in the bottom of a plastic rubbermaid mug that I've probably had for twenty years. I like the smell or at lest I don't mind it and it's always lathered well for me. I've found better soaps but never a better value and I imagine I'll always have ...

I face lather most of the time and use soaps more than creams. So I like a brush with some backbone and a bulb shape best. I love my commodore x1. Picks up soap beautifully. The small brush is just the right size and stiffness to massage my face without putting lather in my ear and I have relatively...

This seller's items frequently go very high. As others have said his razors are in great shape. I'm guessing collectors are bidding high because of his reputation for top notch merchandise. I saw a gold tech from him bring over $60 while others in good shape sometimes go as low as $20 shipped.

My bracket blew up day one. Big East bias. Good win by the cuse. Too many turnovers . More Canadian intrigue with Cuse-Gonzaga. http://blog.syracuse.com/orangebasketball/2010/03/leftovers_from_syracuse_vs_ver.html I think Cornell continue to cause problems. Awe Princeton offense. Pass, Weave, back ...

Tim, I'm glad that it worked out, but I'm bound to say that I think you will be even more pleased if/when you get around to trying a good vintage Gillette DE or one of those new Muehle-Pinsel/Edwin Jagger models. Regards, Gordon Gordon I may soon find out. The longer I use the Parker the more I thi...

I've never tried the aeropress but it seems similar to an upside down french press. I've used a french press for many years. The only thing that approaches it for quality is a manual drip. The bodum french press is excellent as is the melitta manual drIp system. But even better IMO is a is to use a ...

This game is what makes the first round so great. Aside from a boiling personal hatred for Villanova, it is great to see a prepared and well coached team take on a cold and unprepared team, and possibly win.
What a defensive play to push it to overtime.

I'm very lucky to have a coffee shop in my town http://www.laveggiocoffee.com/ that roasts their own coffees. The owner is an absolute freak on the subject of coffee and their brews are amazing. They make the best espresso I've ever had. Right now at home I've got a pound of Rwanda Coopac (city roas...

I should add the book I just finished, Salt: A World History by Mark Kurlansky. This is a fascinating overview of the role salt has played in the development of Western and Eastern societies. None of this got covered in high school or college history classes yet salt played a major role in the poli...

I bought the Parker 60R a couple weeks ago. It came with 10 Shark blades. It's the first DE razor I've ever owned. It was a little cheaper than any of the merkurs and I'd read some reviews from people who bought parkers and seemed to like them. Since the move to DE was an experiment for me, it seeme...
