The mug is too narrow at the bottom to fit a cake of soap. It can hold one, but it hovers at the top of the mug....So that doesn't seem like its actual use. There is very little room in the caddy for warm water while the mug is in it. There's no way it would keep the contents warm.
So my wife got me a col conk ceramic shave mug with pewter caddy.... Am I supposed to do something with the caddy or is it just for good looks? At first I thought I put the soap in the ceramic mug and lather in the caddy - but the mug is too narrow at the bottom to hold the soap. Then I figured I la...
Yes, same prep.notthesharpest wrote:When you shave at these two times, are you doing equal preparation for either one? (That is, if you're going to shave in the afternoon do you shower first?)
Between shaving in the morning and shaving in the afternoon? I've noticed that I tend to get more nicks in the afternoon than if I shave in the morning, even after several days of afternoon shaving. Is there a natural softness to the beard in the morning? Like maybe the oil from your skin after a ni...
I shave with creams, sticks and soaps. I have no preference. I just like shaving. I like practicing and lathering them all differently. I was pleased on wtg and xtg results. Nice shave and definitely feel at this point confident enough to up...

Makes sense. It's a tad more expensive than online but when you factor in shipping costs the price is about the same, plus there's no wait. It was my first time with Col Conk this morning and I was pleased. I found it to be a more hydrating lather than the AoS creams. It lathers really easy and fast...
