What size is the Joris brush? If you have the equivalent Plisson size, that would be great, or the knot size / loft. Best ... Steve It only comes in one size, and I don't have a range of numbered Plisson heads to compare it to. It is a very nicely sized brush, and you can tell scale by comparing it...

Keep in mind that the razors have neither been cleaned nor polished. I just pulled them off my shower shelf and photographed them. Ditto for the brush. It has never been used, but has been on another cabinet shelf for a couple years. The gold will luster even more when polished. http://www.postimage...

It very much depends on where you are. In lower Manhattan social circles, it can be totally acceptable, totally unacceptable, or a great way to meet a cute stranger, depending on the subtleties of the situation and your familiarity with the bummer/bumme. There really isn't a clear cut answer to this...
