I have the Nani Superstones and for the money they are a great value. I use 1k,3/8k,and 12k. and whatever natural finisher I might like to to top it off with. I have Escher,Thuri,Coticule,Charnley Forest,Blah bla bla and the edges produced are not much better than a naniwa ss12k or a Chosera 10k. I'm sure the Shaptons are capable of wonderful edges when you learn them. Make sure you have some crox on some sort of strop as the edge may be a little too shar...

I have a razoe with the same symptoms you describe. Mine is warped right at the edge so there is an almost unnoticeable roll of the bevel. Try looking at the reflection at the bevel and see if the reflection is equal from both sides.To fix mine I would have to take an eighth inch off to get an equal...
