I have seen a lot of people comment about changing shaving soap/cream seasonally?

I'm curious as to how many do that and why?

I am wondering if I missed the boat. With few exceptions, I have been wet shaving since 1960 and it never occurred to me to change for that reason.

I transitioned from Feather and Kai shavettes to straights and I think the former made it easier to use straights. In general, there is far more feel to straights. For reasons I can't define, there seems to be a magic to straights; something makes me feel better. Yes the shavettes are sharp, super s...

Best not say so at SRP. Certain people there have a great hate for the Hart razors. A pity.

James, Yeah, the Valobra sticks are tallow based whist the soft blocks are vegetable oil based. Regards, Gordon I've stalled on opening the brick because I have too many other things opened. But I am increasingly curious at how it will stack up against my top three, which are: 1. P.160 Tipo Morbido...

I still have a block of Valobra that I never tried. After reading many of the comments here, I'm more curious. I have used for some time the Valobra shaving soap sticks (which are wonderful) but I understand they have different ingredients.
