I bought these too, a month or so ago. I think the shave for a walmart item is quite nice. Of course, my '63 Slim Adjustable works quite well with it.

Gillette

Does Gillette still make safety razor blades? About 10 years ago when I first got my safety razor I purchased a package of Gillette blades and was impressed by the baby-smooth shave I got, since then I have not been able to find them.

Gillette Thin Blades

I recently received quite a few of these boxes as a gift. they look quite old. Any reviews or thoughts on them. I haven't tried them out since I'm still using another blade. The box looks as though they are from the 50's or so.

Fret not fellows! You all seem like good sports, really! I didn't mean to make a scene at all. It is often awkward to be a newbie on the boards.
I'll wend my way through the many threads and sections and discover many fascinating things, I'm sure.
Thanks one and all!

has been nothing but confusion. I have a beard. I shave the cheeks and the neck, though. I enjoy shaving. But I also like having a beard. I seem to have been given the impression that bearded men are not wanted here. I haven't tried all the fancy dance razors and shaving soaps and after shaves. I us...

I, unfortunately, own this. It is your standard high alcohol + chemical scent aftershave. Cheap shit.
