Look here guys, there about about 5,000 variations on these 'shaving' mugs made with everything from ceramic, to granite, to polished bamboo, to the revered Shino at most Japanese dollar stores.

I see no reason investing any more than $5 on a symmetric mug no larger than most cups...

Despite all the talks of DE and straight blade advantages on this forum, everyone here will eventually buy the Gillette Fusion and a pack of replacement blades because we are all lured to the new - regardless if that newness is a nostalgic return to antiquated pleasures such as english shave creams...

Seriously man... look at your face after the second pass... you are redder than a cherry on vanilla cream... you can't possibly convince me that your straight razor and english cream is a less irritating shave than a DE or 3xBlade.
