That brush is stunning. May you use it with joy and in good health!
Thanks, Tim. I'll try to take some closeup pictures of it if I can figure out how to do so with my point-and-click camera.

FS: Chatillon Lux Aftershaves

This is a single lot of 4 Chatillon Lux aftershaves, each used no more than 3-4 times. La Quatrième Ville, Unconditional Surrender, Sni Mato, and La Forêt de Liguest. They are soothing, and they smell really good. I'm glad I got to try them; I just prefer vintage and more traditional aftershaves. Th...

Re: Elite Razor Amber Brush

I'll post images and a report after I have used it. I've used Bob's Manchurian White knots before, and they are wonderful, similar to Paladins.

A custom Chubby 2 with a Manchurian White knot and a handle made from real amber is coming from master craftsman Bob Quinn. Wow.

FS: Asylum Evolution, Blackland Blackbird

Two double edge safety razors are available, an Asylum Evolution and a Blackland Blackbird. I got them recently just to try them. I'm glad I had the experience of using them, but for me they are redundant when I already have other very similar razors. Both are in excellent condition and come with th...

Re: What are you reading?

Tear It Down, a novel in the Peter Ash series by Nick Petrie. Quite good books, sort of thrillers but with a lot of character development.

Re: A Tip of the Hat to Amazon

Question to the OP - I could not find a phone number. Would you care to share it? Thank you. I misspoke in my first post. I did not telephone them. I clicked on a link on their web site's customer service section, giving my number and requesting a call back. They called within a couple minutes.

RIP Albert Finney

The great actor Albert Finney has died at age 82. In his later years he did "character" roles, but earlier he was a dashing leading man, such as in my favorite of his movies, Tom Jones.

A Tip of the Hat to Amazon

I recently bought a blood pressure monitor from Amazon but found that it consistently gave abnormally low readings, despite battery changes and with no evidence of any cuff leakage. Amazon's web site says that personal care items like the monitor are "not eligible for return," so I telephoned their ...

Re: New Razors

Murray, the handle of the machined Evolution is very comfortable to hold. It is not slippery at all or unstable. And the razor shaves nicely with a vintage Gillette Platinum Plus blade, pretty much equivalent in aggressiveness and efficiency to my Weber polished head.
