Very nice review! I was one of the folks that initially had problems with thin airy lather that dissipated quickly. Once the water/soap ratio is figured out, this soap produces a thick, luxurious lather that lasts. I also found the slickness and skin care to be outstanding. A very good soap indeed!

Re: Rapira and Sputnik -- your experience?

I recently received some Rapiras and Sputniks from a vendor as a freebie in a purchase. They both do a poor job on my particular face. What have been the experiences of other members? I ask because I would like to develop some alternate blades to keep in mind if the shaveocalypse occurs and the big...

These razors are all so beautiful, but if they shave like an R41 or Fatip, I know they won't work for me. Very nice razors, thanks for sharing.

Sorry, I couldn't help it ;-)

I've had good luck with most brushes and MWF, you might just need to load a little longer, and let some water rest on top of the soap while you shower.

Have tried this a couple times now. Agree it is a great cream. Call me crazy, but I DO smell some lavendar. Does it smell like any other lavendar soap/cream product that i've smelled before,,, NOPE. I do wish all on line retailers would give more comprehensive information about brush dimensions. Loft should always be given alongside the knot size. +1 I don't completely blame the retailers however. I understand the high end brushes are hand made, and there is some variance, but it sometimes see...
