Women are earning more than men more often, running companies and countries, having babies after establishing high flying careers, going back to work afterwards, and still finding time to tell us what do at home and how shelves are put up... ...and you're concerned about a shave soap smelling 'too m...

I've no experience with pre Vulfix Simmo's, but the 3 I have are all great; a Berk, Duke 1 and Ch1. Or if you like, a small, medium and FAT. Mark chose the Duke for me after some chat and emails, and it's a terrific brush. I originally went with a X2, which I found too big, so Mark cut me a very nic...

In my experience, I find Harris soaps to be very good soaps. Not so with Trumper's. OK, but not on a par with Harris. Just got my first puck of Arlington and I'd agree here. Trumpers was a big meh for me. Very hard soap, hard to load up and lather and kind of meh when it did work. Trumpers creams a...

Cade is one veggie soap I really get on with. I'd keep the brush slightly on the drier side, so you can load up and add plenty of water. Every soap is a bit different, but you can't go far wrong using too much. Also, you might need to give the new puck a while to soften up a bit, it's pretty hard to...

multiblade is multiblade,, first blades grabs and lifts the hair and the next does the cutting.. after the cut the hair is shorter than the skin line line.. hence the hair is now below the skin line. That's not actually a fact, it's gillette's tech marketing. They had to pull such claims from a num...

In my short proper shaving career I have not had the opportunity to try Trumpers, but I do not think I shall bother. I asked why Sandalwood has been out of stock for so long and when they expected to offer more. Almost a week has passed and I have not heard a thing. If you do not want to respond to...

Thanks Gordon Yes, tallows spoil me, it seems to work best for me. Speick, Tabac and Cella are my regulars. I'm in Oz, so AoS stuff probably isn't cost effective for me. I may give Trumpers another spin, although the Rose was relegated to bath soap after not wanting to give up on it easily - it had ...

I used to use the Gillette double edge disposable razor (the green and blue one) for years before I switched to the proglide - the proglide has been night and day from the double edge. I really love it. . In the land of the Yugo, the Skoda is king. I pulled out my Fusion the other day. Compared to ...

I shudder thinking what would befall a bottle of precious Floid A/S  . I got my Floid from VS and it barely made it. The box was put in an A4 envelope and was all mashed up at the top. Don't know how it didn't break. Luckily there are other places I can get it now, for only a $ or 2 more. I'...

FYI - if you're afraid of running out of Speick, don't mill it. It will shorten its longevity. I just don't get on with sticks, so I mill mine, as it's a brilliant soap. But yes, after a while it goes quite soft in a bowl. By the time you get down to a third left, it's halfway towards being a cream...

The only offering I can make here is don't go near TOBS sandalwood soap; hands down the worst soap I've tried to use. I just had some Trupmers samples flung my way, and was instantly smitten with the Sandalwood cologne - the shave cream I could take or leave. The very same week a friend PIFd me said...
