I am too new to wet shaving to consider this legitimately. When it comes to soaps/creams, the handful I have tried are very good to great when I contrast them to the various aerosol gels I used not that long ago. I am pretty cautious with switching up other wetware as some the products induce drynes...

Had a new IPA from a brewery I have never heard of, Central Waters Brewing Company’s Glacial Trail IPA. I am pretty happy with a broad range within style, not to picky. This one knocked my socks off though! Well balanced and very flavorful. I will be getting more and definitely trying their other of...

Good show Wendell! This is timely as I have just gotten back on the wagon after having fallen off from a previous and mighty successful weight loss. I do not try to do anything too dramatic as I know it would be an exercise in frustration for me. Slow and steady, don't eat so much and cut back on al...

I have no personal experience, but I have read several times that this is an excellent source for replating.

Trader Joe's brings out a annual belgian ale for Christmas. This year wasexcelent and I squirreled 3 bottles away. they claim it will mature for up to 2 years safely. I've never been disappointed in the vintages. These excellent beers are made by Unibroue for Trader Joe. they are good right away an...

Conversely I've never seen a TV ad for a Cobra Classic, but I want one. SMF probably has imbedded subliminal ads flying all around. That is a You really most need a outrageous Cobra Classic accusation . I used to wear ball caps backwards. In my younger days I thought it looked good, it functi...

Just something that I was reminded of as I was reading the new posts. With the Featherweight I can apply too much pressure which leads to irritation. This was especially true when I first started using it or when I pick it up after a hiatus. I guess since I am more used to my DE I have a slight expe...

It can get very confusing very fast because we have so many options and there are so many different factors that can influence an individual’s experience. Unfortunately, there is no perfect answer. It really comes down to trying a razor out. Start somewhere; buy one razor you think you will have a r...

I have been at this just under a year so I am definitely not a sage. Based on my experience I agree with the above that is it is predominately technique still. Given the neck is harder to flatten out so to speak than other parts of the face, it is too easy to get too much pressure going on part of t...

In my opinion, the Art of Shaving is not really set up to cater to the hard core wet shaver. It seems to be marketed more toward a lifestyle image, which you can get a feel for from their website. Having said that, there are certainly some products which I think are worthwhile. I think the soap is p...

Unibroue is definitely Belgian inspired, but I am not sure the Blonde de Chambly is like any of the Chimays. I have not had a bad one yet, but my favorite is Maudite. Also brewed outside of Belgium, but excellent are the beers of Brewery Ommegang. Some of their beers should be avialable at Whole foo...
