Re: Sad news here

I'm so sorry to read about that. You and your family have my deepest sympathy. Far too many of our soldiers are committing suicide, and yes the military gives them drugs in combat to get better results and to "keep them together". One problem, they forget they aren't machines. That's compo...

Re: Does anybody miss the old days and getting a barber Shop Shave?

I never had one either. But on another forum they were discussing it and my take away was that I could do a better job myself.

Re: Green tea

Yes Gary, green tea has a pleasant mild flavor and not a large amount of caffeine. I have mine with either some erythritol or monk fruit extract as a sweetener.

Re: Krampert's Finest - out of business

Well, thanks, but I'm not, not really. It was a heck of a decision, but I was feeling the weight of it on me and I was happy to get out from under it. The hardest part of the decision was knowing that the products were liked and not being able to supply them to folks anymore. That responsibility was...

Re: COVID survivors

You should do what you feel comfortable doing. But if you're going to hole up you probably should sterilize everything before it enters your home, change and wash clothes after going out, the list is endless. You know what you need to do. I think I caught it from a nurses coat who was the school nur...

Re: COVID survivors

I agree with you adhoc. And Sweden didn't destroy it's economy and yet has a similar result healthwise. One can't help but think there is another agenda at play in the countries that did.

But question it and the folks who bought into it get very angry.

Re: COVID survivors

And if one is female and has an O blood type statistically you're less likely to contract it. The worst possible combo? Be male and have anything other than O blood type. It's not a guarantee, just a statistical trend.

Re: COVID survivors

Sam, do you have a blood 02 meter? You might find what you see to be interesting. Lightheadedness is what clued me in that my O2 was headed south. It's been 11 months for me and just last month I saw my old O2 levels back in my body. Give it time and if you can't do something put it on the shelf. Ta...

Re: COVID survivors

Sam, I lost my appetite too. I was in ketosis so it was no big deal for me. My wife was upset that I wouldn't eat for 4 days. I just looked at it as a great weight loss program (seriously). Got huge lower GI distress too, but that also could have been from my med's that I take. I have no idea if I l...

Re: COVID survivors

It has a survival rate of 99.87 or some such. Good that you were one of the survivors. I had it in early - mid February '20. I didn't know what it was and neither did my Dr. . Similar symptoms to yours. I was going to make the call on O2 levels if I saw 90% which is low for me. No problems breathing...

Yup.

It's been years since I had a DE shave and I don't miss the flexible blade at all. I keep a few DE razors in the cabinet but it's been a long time since one has been used.

Re: Matching soaps & creams with most effective brush fibers

When I was more active on the various forums I would run across this theory fairly often. I was puzzled about it then and still am. I have a rotation of 30 some odd brushes; badger, boar, synthetic, hybrid boar/badger, and basically I felt then, and still do, that it just comes down to knowing the ...

Merry Christmas to everyone and peace on earth to men of good will!

May your 2021 be better than 2019 was. (I skipped 2020 since doing better than it sets an awfully low bar.)

LabRadar unit to take the place of my older chronograph. It uses doppler radar to measure the speed of really fast moving objects if I understand the way it works.
