Thanks for posting. I've been curious about the Ikon razors for a bit, so this was a nice introduction. I agree, he does excellent videos and has great presentation skills.

Hi Rick, I'll second the recommendation on Novus plastic polishes. I've used them for years on a variety of plastics with good results. Initially picked them up or acrylic display cases that had scratches. You can read about them at their website here . The #2 polish is the one I use the most, and l...

Is the restriction on oakmoss based simply on it being an allergen? If so that is somewhat concerning, as trying to cover every possible allergen would not leave much left over time.

Treated myself to the Vulfix 2235 in faux horn recently. Very nice brush, and the style and shape are excellent.

Picked up a sample of this awhile back, and was really amazed at how nice it was. The other fragrances in the sample pack I didn't care much for, but EF was exceptional. Picked up the AS at one of the vendors using a holiday coupon to try, as I typically prefer the scents more subtle, and thought th...

I'll add Bath & Body Works Coconut Lime Verbena. We've used this as a foaming soap, and it is a nice pleasant scent. Nice coconut and lime mix without smelling like suntan lotion if I recall rightly. I'd forgot they had splashes in the various scents, but would agree it might be worth looking i...

Thanks for all the feedback guys. Given that I verge towards dry skin it makes sense now why I liked the Coconut the best. I see a pot of the Coconut in my future. Definitely been fun experimenting with the creams.

Take care,

I agree. I was surprised with the smaller cap, and a little annoyed in that I couldn't stand it on end with the others. Had to throw it in the cabinet.

Thanks,

Rich there may in fact be some intentional differences in Trumper's shaving creams. At one time Trumper marked the creams for specific use as in Almond for sensitive skin, Limes for oily skin, Coconut for dry skin (think that's correct) and so on. Hello Squire, That is interesting. The Coconut defi...

I think it is important to realize that British creams can differ significantly from package to package. Thanks for the feedback Ken. Actually my Limes tube is the one that is different from the others. It has a small cap, such that I cannot stand it on end like the Rose and Violet that I have. Won...

If you'd like to try the Trumper Sandalwood and Rose drop me a line. I have a couple extra samples. Was just looking at what I had on hand tonight. Can send them out to you if you promise to share your thoughts. :)

Take care,

I want to say English Leather Timberline and Wind Drift from the 80's, but being so long ago I might be basing this on fuzzy good memories from the past versus actual scent. I found both of these at Perfumania and I think the Dana website has them. Hope it helps I want to say that the versions put ...

Thanks for the feedback. I tried the Limes cream again today, and it lathers okay, but doesn't seem as nice as the others. Not sure if it is just the smell that is leaving the impression, or the face feel. Lather wise they all seem pretty similar, with the coconut oil seeming richer overall, and bet...

Trumper Cream Differences

I've been lucky enough to be able to sample a number of the Trumper creams a variety of times between samples and some tubes I've picked up. So far I'm finding that the Coconut cream gave me the best lather, followed by Rose, Almond, GFT and Sandalwood in the middle, with Violet next and Limes dead ...

Nice catch, first time I've seen the colors and gold. Are the red and blue handles octagonal, or are they smooth? Can't tell for sure from the pictures. The reflections make them look possibly octagonal.
