I completely agree. The blues are good blades, but they are definitely not SIsBullGoose wrote:While the Blue blades are smooth, I do not find them to be as sharp as an Iridium. I like them mind you but not as much as an Iridium.

The Sandalwood Rose sounds nice. If I were Michelle, I would try to stray off the path just enough. And I think the Sandalwood Rose is a good idea. For scents like Lavender and Sandalwood, there are plenty of excellent producers. I think producing something a tad different gives further reason to tr...

Thanks Gordon for the info. It seems most creams these days, and particularly those made by Pens and Floris, tend to be of that waxy toothpaste tube kind of material. I would be worried about it going rancid due to the high water content. I think that is a large reason why soaps are able to last so ...

I don't know if this helps at all, but I was at The Scent Bar in West Hollywood last week and the gentleman there told me they are having trouble getting the DC fragrance. The DC cream seems to go in and out of production. I've heard that the company will make it, but the amount required for an orde...

I know what you mean about the reformulation. There have been a lot of different reviews of the reformulated Pens soaps, probably reflecting tinkering with the formula. Notably that the more recent batches are better than the earlier veggie batches. I haven't tried the veggie ones, and have been tro...

Arko is known for 3 things: It's cheap price, its outstanding lather, and it's smell. Unfortunately the last one is a deterrent in light of the other 2. I actually experimented by adding fragrance to the soap. Now mine has an English Leather scent which is quite nice. If you leave the soap out it wi...
