Re: Joris

Another Joris lover here. It is a Fatip head that's reworked by Plisson (made a bit thinner and replaced). I use mainly Polsilvers, Iridiums, Personna's and Feathers in my Joris razors.

Re: Need a more aggressive razor

Just as effective als the R41 but smoother shaving would be a Joris (now Plisson) or it's cheaper brother the Fatip.

COMPLETE WTT Simpson Duke 3 LE for Joris/Plisson razor

COMPLETE 2 months ago I bought a Simpson Duke 3 Best Badger Limited Edition in Faux Brair (paid $195) and although it is as good a brush as described in reviews it's a bit to small for my preferences. I'm looking to trade for a Joris (Plisson) razor. Can be metal or horn handle but no wood please ht...

Re: Hip Replacement

My wife had both hips replaced 10 and 6 years ago. There is this special program here they call "the Joint Care Group" where they operate on 15 people the same day, they go through a very intense week of training and care, they have to walk, do stairs and what not and on the last day they ...

Re: 2nd-generation Tradere safety bar razor

Not sure if this is the best razor ever made, or whether I'm just in a honeymoon phase. Either way, I'm a happy camper. Glad you like it. It might very well be the best razor for you. I really loved it but after a while it ended up lying there and seeing not that much use anymore (my Feather DX and...

Re: SCHWARWEISSKERAMIK SCUTTLE

I had a XL first but found that to deep for my liking, I now have a S Scuttle and that's better for me. Dimensions are the same just less deep. packaging and delivery time where very good.

I like where this is going.
Imagine something like the Cobra but SS and with a good mechanism what a shaver that would be ;-) Whatever it might turn out to be I'll be watching!

Re: Need help finding a good hone

Entirely different but I got my best results from coticules, you can find more information on how to use those here: http://www.coticule.be/straight-razor-honing.html I found them easy to use and especially the fact that I only needed one stone to do my sharpening. I'm sure others will give you advi...

The minimal play is normal, once the blade is in place it's locked tight. As far as advice there is not much to say, it's a pretty straight forward razor, you will feel and hear it if you have the correct angle, it's easy to find. I didn't find the Cobra to be a aggressive razor but one that gives a...

http://media.nassrasur.com/search.php?search_keywords=%22AS-D2S%22 should work for the pictures. As far as how it shaves according to Stefan, the same as the old one. However he did say that in the first version there where some razors that where extremely mild compared to other batches. He obviousl...

I've tried or owned all models from Feather and Kai but never got around to try a CJB. But I hear good things about it, shave should pretty much be the same as the more expensive models as it's the blade that gives the fantastic shaves (for me anyhow). If you keep it loose in your hand and use no pr...

New Feather AS-D2 is here!

One of the first new Feather razors has arrived, Stefan from Nassrasur in Germany has received one and is going to test it tomorrow together with the old model. It's not yet known when they will be available for us. http://translate.google.com/translate?sl=de&tl=en&js=n&prev=_t&hl=nl...
