Bastida -

I am really happy you're enjoying the tea.

Remember my note about a 2nd brewing of the same leaves ... I have often found the 2nd brewing to be superior to the first.

My better half and I so respect this tea, we drink it out of cut crystal wine glasses.

Max ... Assuming a handle is made from relatively inexpensive material, it's the grade of the hair, the size of the knot, and the amount of hand-work that determines the price of a brush. I suggest you should have these facts so you can properly judge price. To some chaps it is also important to kno...

Max ...

It shouldn't be left to chaps to guess what's being talked about ... how are you to evaluate from a price perspective if you don't know the specific product.

Chris: There are chaps on this forum who are admired for their knowledge of shaving brushes and who have stated on more than one occasion a true silvertip (a grade below Rooney's "Finest") is not inexpensive. This is especially true if European labor is used to hand-make the entire brush. ...

Pat - A long time ago ... I use to carry silk dressing gowns and smoking jackets made for me by Ede & Ravenscroft, England's oldest tailors (I believe they date the late 1600's). I'm certain they still hold a Royal Warrant as Robe Makers & Tailors (though the Robes referred to in the warrant...

Q E D Shaving sticks

Hey, guys ! Different skin types react differently to base soaps and essential oils. There is no shaving soap out there that works perfectly for everyone. I personally test every new QEDman shaving stick scent before it is launched, and I have sensitive skin. Is there any soap/cream on the market th...

PASO - What I always advise chaps about any toiletry is simple, you must judge for yourself what is good and what is not. No single person knows what will please you, they can only speak about their own personal likes and dislikes. And believe me, there is no single toiletry out there everyone likes...

Vince/Joel - I'd like to openly request this subject be ended ... is the correct term "locked"? It's heading nowhere and I see no value in allowing it to continue. The Rooneys are here. I suggest chaps give them a consideration along with all the other brushes out there, then make the choi...

Razorgent: WHO ARE YOU that you claim to have the entire story and that it is "unbiased"? You didn't talk to me for what reason? Well, other chaps on this forum can believe you if they want, but if you know the true story then there's only one reason why you didn't call me. I am not part o...

QED / Rooney

Who is razorguy? Who ever he is, he did not speak directly with me. However, he seems to have spoken to every other party ... interesting. Regardless who he is, he has no way of knowing what transpired between me and Sabini. I've been in the retail racket for over 20 years. When I first opened my sh...

Gordon : What Scott at Cambridge has to say, or Ray at Classic has to say, is irrelevent. The issue is the Sabini/QED connection. Only two people have the details regarding that connection, Sabini and me. If any one wants more details about this they can contact me. Quite frankly, I don't think most...

sean mac - Quite frankly, I do not think it appropriate for me to overly participate in forum discussions. I will post if someone directs a question to me or whenever I think a post is required. QEDman shaving soaps are made in small batches, mainly to control the quality but also because my manufac...

Austin: Some essential oils - in fact, some natural ingredients - can irritate certain skin types. In fact, I have often told customers all natural does not necessarily mean efficacious . Some of the worse toiletries I have ever used are those claiming to be all natural. One of the big problems with...

QEDman shaving soap

Honk - Since you've asked me directly, I will respond, even though I think it is in the best interest of this forum retailers stay out of product discussions. Yes, as Chris and Paul have indicated, the formulation of the soap in both jar and stick is the same. I'd also like to say the following, mai...

QEDman shaving soaps ... Peter - I reckon at one time I "collected" comic books in that, as an adult, I very much enjoyed the works of many of the artists who were able to find an outlet in comics. Don't laugh, comics are very popular among adults in Japan. Unfortunately, as with my "normal" books, I hav...

James ~ All through school I wasn't much of a reader, if that makes any sense. Maybe the idea of someone telling me what to read instantly turned me off. Maybe I was interested more in sports. Maybe I was just frigging lazy, or truly a dumbass. Whatever. I do recall two books that were required read...
