I went on a mission in London looking for Wool fat products, but found none. Tried John Lewis, and none of the staff had even heard of it. Likewise Selfridges. Quick & easy way is on-line at Connaught shaving. Top supplier, fast delivery.

Squire wrote:Persius how long did the scent linger post shave?
Squire: I would say about an hour plus (for me). SWMBO could smell it a long after that.

I'll report back after I have used it for a morning shave.

It's a nice place to learn & discuss without worry that'll feel like an idiot. I have always liked to ask "stupid" questions, because that's how I learn: by listing to the responses!

Guess what just arrived? Well, I paid for a £3 sample of shave cream, and got a whole tube of shave cream. That's what I call customer service! I also have 3 sachets of the cologne ... ... I'll give the cream a test run tonight, but first impressions of a lathering in bowl suggests that it performs ...

I love my iPhone (3G). I would be lost without it. I will get a 5 when they come out. Each to their own, I guess.

In the medical world (that we inhabit for business) everyone has an iPhone.

Bee update: I think our bees are quite discerning. They seem to like / not mind DR Harris Rose cream & Pink AS milk. They are also fine with Harris' skin food. Goo job for me! I don't want to change my shaving gear or lose my bees. The "girls" are a delight so far. We have pollen going...

My order is going in the post on Monday. The news is that there IS going to be a soap, it is just going through stability testing at the moment, and there is also going to be an AS milk. Because you all want to know what it is like (the lady was VERY pleased to hear of all the interest), I'm getting...

I am very interested in reading more. I'm kicking around the idea of getting a hive or 2 next year. I'd recommend it (thus far), but a training course of some kind is really useful before you get going. Plugging into the local Association is also important (we got a swarm for nothing through them (...

40,000 additions to the family

Sorry all, but I'm far too excited not to post this here. After a bit of wait, we finally got our first swarm of bees tonight, so I am now officially a beekeeper. It is so, so fascinating watching the little critters wend their way into the hive. I can't wait to get up tomorrow and see what they are...

Just thought it necessary to give a public thanks to Ed (LookingGlass) for sending me his Gillette Slim gratis; despite several attempts from me to press cash on him, he steadfastly refused. He is a true gentleman!

Added to which, the razor is perfect for me ... hoping to have many years using it.
