Lucido Aftershave and Skin Conditioner
Finally I got some Lucido Aftershave Lotion and Skin Conditioner up here in Canada. Can't wait to try them. If anyone cares to know the ingredients are below. http://i1151.photobucket.com/albums/o640/n3gkiwi/photo.jpg Aftershave Lotion: Water, alcohol, betaine, glycerin, peg-20mppg-6-decyltetradecet...

Will split this up as well. Shipping this into the US might get expensive as a full kit (over 1kg and it goes up a lot). So here's a breakdown with shipping to CONUS included (Canadians can PM me). FYI the 38c and e-shave fine badger have been sanitized (38c cleaned with rubbing alcohol and e-shave ...

FS My extras/samples - Merkus 38C, TOBS, GFT, TGR, Blades...
So I bought too much stuff! This my first real kit I've put together so feel free to give feedback (price, pictures, anything...). I have some extra items that I bought and don't use and a lot of samples. Looking for $87 plus shipping to Canada or US (not sure what it would be). More pictures below....

It Seems I'm More of a Cold Wet Shaver...
Just when I was starting to warm up to hot lathering and rinsing. I even bought a nice bowl that floats in my sink to keep my brush and lather warm. The warmth felt nice. But then today happened. I left my brush soak in hot water as I showered. I then made my typical (face) lather and left my brush ...

Trade/Sell: Gentlemans Refinery Unscented Balm for Lucido
Like the title says. Over 95% left (used three times). I am looking for Lucido Aftershave Lotion and/or the Skin Conditioner to Canada. I have literally been scavenging the internet trying to order this up here without ridiculous shipping fees. Alternatively I'd consider selling TGR Unscented Afters...

I did look into the Moss Scuttle - however being on completely different sides of the country, with shipping the cheapest one would be around $100. Really I'm just looking to try to keep my brush warm when face lathering so would consider any bowl or mug that would let me do that. I'm having a hard ...

WTB: Brush Scuttle
I'm looking for a brush scuttle for when I face lather. As I'm in Canada, I'm having a bit of a hard time finding stuff. If you guys have anything or suggestions I'd love to hear from you.
Cheers!

Forgot to mention I changed blades! Used an Astra for the first time. Seemed pretty sharp (definitely more compared to the Derbys). Sliced through my growth with no problem. But I did try using an Alum block for the first time after the shave... WOOooo it stung in certain places but subdued relative...

Update so far. Had a shave yesterday - waited longer for the bumps to subside. This morning, very little noticeable irritation or new bumps. I focused on five main things when doing those areas basically: Blade angle and pressure (basically none), WTG, stretching the skin, only two passes (the first...

You are what you eat! I think the classic North American diet has way too carbs in general (pizza, rice, pasta...). Even when I try to eat absolutely no carbohydrates, I still easily end up getting enough. Also if you cut out carbohydrates, you generally reduce a lot of your calorie intake which is ...

Re: Shaving Over Razor Bumps - turned in to a viscous cycle
You don't mention what blades you are using. The only time I get razor bumps/ingrown hair (usually on my neck) is when I use a blade that is poorly honed (tugs and pulls instead of shaving cleanly). I have a sample set of blades. Over the past couple months I have used only three blades. Merkur, De...
