Definitely a YMMV argument.

The best argument for the Tradere, is that being non-adjustable; you tend to find the sweet spot quicker than when you're constantly making adjustments to a Futur

I've ruined good colognes in the past, by leaving them on the shelf.

To ensure longer life, it is more suitable to keep them in a dark, cool area.

The variation that can be provided by shimming should be looked at; to prevent having to go out & buy another razor.

How hard is it to pack a "regular" razor?

Space has never been THAT much of a problem in my experience.

I'm just finding out about shimming.....

It seems to be a cheap way of adjusting a non-adjustable razor to your own preferences!

Price Reduction for S/S!!! PILS 101NE + Stand

Help prevent the Cap'n from walking the plank!!! SWMBO came upon the credit card statement, which revealed recent razor purchases that maybe had not been discussed prior to them being made...... Nevertheless, I'm able to redeem myself by passing on these beautiful shaving implements to a new owner. ...

Just received my DLC with the (longer) classic handle the other day.

Extremely impressed - this razor offers amazing value for money & can provide an equal, or better shave than a razor costing 3 times as much.

If you're on the fence about getting one of these, don't be; they're great!

Judging by the look of it alone, I don't think this will do, if I'm honest. http://www.shaving.ie/products/Merkur-43c-Stainless.html Agreed. F...

If any of these combinations are attempted, you're guaranteed that the shaving head will never hit the floor first when you drop it!!!
