Most likely we are talking about entirely different age and social situations here. I see teenagers and the 20-something guys wearing these coats in very informal settings, certainly not in a business setting. A tie, for example, would not look appropriate w/this style coat (to me) - at least a tie ...

Penguins

Did you ever wonder why there are no dead penguins on the ice in Antarctica. I’m just here help. It is a known fact that the penguin is a very ritualistic bird which lives an extremely ordered and complex life. They are very committed to its family and will mate for life, as well as maintain a form ...

SHORT - short - short. Like maybe two inches, that is a lot. I was taught that the length should fit into the crease of your fingers if you bent your fingertips inward to touch your palm. The last two pictures look closer to right to me. Maybe styles have changed, but I would feel awkard in this coat.

A hats off salute to CBS television for the coverage of the broken leg injury to Kevin Ware. Reading and listening to coverage of the telecast regarding the injury has been interesting this morning. Predicable I suppose, the social media type outlets are crying the coverage was weak, showing ONLY a ...

Pondering - nice people

I was reading an article the other day about the “nice” people in our lives. Didn’t seem to be any correlation between gender, occupation, social status or anything else, although it does seem that the service to others type of calling attracts the type of personality that lends itself to this trait...

I'm not Wendell, but the ESPN show on NC State is worth going out of your way to see. Seems like it was a 2-hr show and very well done. This tournament has been a departure from the usual good games seems to me, have been some real stinkers this year. As someone remarked this morning, if you don't h...

I played the harmonica for awhile as a teenager, yes they had been invented by then. About the same time started learning the guitar, and the plan was to get some of those little round dark eyeglasses like Paul McCartney used to wear, grow my hair long, become rich and famous, and by now be retired,...

Outstanding pictures.

Wonder if the guy has had his nose pecked at? Nose or Cheetos ... Nose or Cheetos ... Nose or Cheetos ...

Use to have a friend (RIP Bryan) who raised raptors and was lucky enough to get some great pictures when helping him train those wonderful birds.
