SMF

I use some type of Gem, Ever-Ready or Star SE razor the majority of the time. My favorite blades are the carbon steel Gem Blue Star, Treet and CVS blades made by ASR. I do occasionally use the stainless Gem blades made by ASR.

I've used quite a few. The blades aren't bad, I prefer the Schick blades, but the plastic Personna dispensers can be kind of crappy. I've actually had a couple break apart, and the sliding tab on the last one I had wouldn't pick up a blade, it just slid right over it. I pushed the blades out with a ...

No sir, I don't own one of those, only seen pictures, probably yours, and read about it in Waits. That is simplicity at it's finest!

On a side note, you asked at B&B about the Stoll Improved. I didn't know if you saw the pictures of mine or not.

Thanks. You can definitely tell a difference between the lowest and highest settings. On 1 it feels pretty similar to the later model GEM's, which is pretty mild. On 9-10 it's right up there with the open comb Micromatic. I'd love to know how many of these where actually made, and why they were neve...
