Speak to me about Rotation
No not tire rotation but Razor & Blade combination rotation. I have two razor & blade sets that are at the ready to shave with each day. My process is to use the same razor and blade for 5-6 shaves. (I get 5-6 shaves per blade before the quality degrades to where I need to replace the blade)...

Re: Facial wash/cleanser and moisturizing for sensitive skin
Chris I'm in much the same boat as you with sensitive skin. Somethings you can find locally are NIVEA Men Sensitive Face Wash and Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture Sensitive Skin. The Neutrogena is in the female section of the store. Both are inexpensive and are from quality makers. Another sensitive fac...

A DE shave story
I thought I would share my recent story of DE shaving. I call it DE shaving rather than wet shave because I have nearly always wet shaved but as my placeholder indicates I’ve been DE shaving since 2006. Back in 2014 I purchased a Jagger DE 89 to add to my two Gillette’s. When I received the Jagger I...

Re: Harrys Razor vs. Dollar shave club
I tried Harry’s blades & gel several times. I found that the gel was drying and irritated my face. So I stopped the gel and returned to Nivea for sensitive skin. As far as the blade and handle I loved the handle and found the blades very sharp but not long lasting. Eventually I stopped using Har...

Re: Is SMF losing its vigour?
I still stop by occasionally. I think that that the site like most of us have found our rhythm. I retired about 2 y/o and went on a crusade to purchase every DE at every estate sale in my area. I now have a box of razors that need to be cleaned but I have no motivation to clean them. Different inter...

Dave:
Sorry for the mix up. I had sent you an email with my paypal info but you didn't get it. This new SMF2 site is really not very good-PM's are messed up.
Razor will go Monday-USPS first class. I'll email you the tracking info as soon as it goes.
Thank you
Tom

Wendell: You were in the neighborhood and didn’t even stop for a “Blue” or a Canadian. I like the Eastview, it offers a better overall shopping experience then my local Galleria.

Re: Etiquette and the modern day
Well the Royal Air Force taught me hats off indoors, so that's what a I do. I don't wear a hat except when in uniform anyway, but it's a shame to see basic manners like this go the way of the dinosaur. On another note, I was very surprised last week when visiting a mess at RAF Coningsby how many se...

Re: Sirrius XM radio
Sam: If your question is regarding the value of an XM/Sirrus subscription I'll leave that up to you and your banker. But if the question is regarding the traffic-NO it's not worth it. Unless Memphis traffic is really bad and is included in the subscription don't bother. I use to travel 30-35,000 mil...

Re: Jagger DE89L vs. Mekur 34
Tucker I did the same thing that you did by putting a Derby into my Slim and opened her a little more (to 7 from 4) and experienced a great shave. Derby’s for me have always been just a little too light-weight for my beard. But by changing up the adjustment I had a great shave. I have another thread...
