When the LB Wilkinsons and pre-Surrey Gillette Platinums show up these days... Regards, Gordon Hi there Gordon. If I knew then what I knew now I would have bought up that entire lot of LB blades for myself  I hope you and the SMF member (from NJ I think) who snapped up the ones I left are stil...

Any members in the Montreal area can find this product at Vasco's or Centre du Rasoir. It was the very first shaving cream I ever used a few years ago when I got into traditional wetshaving.

I bought something only once where the merchant shipped using a courier service.

Never made that mistake again.

The brokerage fees, Customs duties, G.S.T. etc. etc. made it outrageously expensive.

Just curious Peter, how come the organization you work for doesn't foot the cost for his vet bills? You would think the rehabilitation of a dog that has been trained to do that important work would merit having his vet bill taken care of and potentially allowing him to do his job again.

Accent, accent, what accent ? I thought we were invisible. Does Captain Kirk have an accent ? Dan Ackroyd ? Seth Rogen ?

Just out of curiosity, what did it cost you. I think the highest I ever saw one of them go for was somewhere in the hundred dollar range. Got it for $50--she ended the auction for me and mailed it out the other day. I should have it early next week (if not tomorrow). One recently went for 85 (inclu...

I have a soft brush (the Vulfix 2234) and a scrubby one (Duke 3) in a comparable size. However, I would love something with slightly more backbone than the 2234 that is equally soft. In other words, sort of a midpoint between the Vulfix and the Duke. Is this the mythical brush I seek? Regards, I ha...

Coolest Schick- The ones with the easy open washing feature, like the Golden 500. There is a shaving scene in the Frank Sinatra move "The Tender Trap". I'm almost certain that he is using a Golden 500. I remember seeing this movie a couple of years ago and laughing at myself because I act...

If the CDN dollar had not cratered so badly this would have definitely been tempting. What a difference a year makes. This time last year our dollar was trading above par with the greenback. Now it is more like 1 USD = 1.26 CDN
