They let me test lather in the store using the plisson synthetic brush. Quite impressed with the performance.

I simply love my rooney style 1 size two. It is my favorite brush over the years, even though I haven't picked it up in a while it is still my first love.

Here it is. You can see the knot is kinda lopsided. Nonetheless a nice brush.

Thanks a ton. I simply adore my AS-D2. I own an AS-D1 but have only used it a couple of times mainly because I love the AS-D2 so much. That and I keep them separate so I do not mix them up. This guide will enable me to identify them much more easily!

I was in the Lush in Baltimore the other day and in their window they had a foaming strawberry shaving soap. I almost bought it. I don't know if it is intended to be applied with a brush or not, however, I know it will foam better when applied with a brush! A quick google search yielded a link calli...

I have a Rooney Polo as well. It isn't as nicely shaped as the one shown. Mine has a little bump in the middle and has a kind of pyramid shape. I can share a picture later. Is that a 28mm knot? I believe mine is a size 1 at 26mm
