Oh man, this is a while back. I think it was Big Ren that gave me the AC/DC title for an electrician.
Love seeing those names again.

Re: Cataracts
I hope everything goes well for you Sam. When I did my left eye, they noticed there was some residual cataract on the back of the capsule. My vision was awesome in both eyes and it still is. The only bad thing is that they did a YAG laser treatment a few months ago to compensate for the plaque, and ...

Re: Cataracts
Second surgery 1/4. Now two days later and my right eye is at least 95%. My entire house is one big eye chart. I'm testing my eyesight on everything: plants, bottle labels, TV news, clocks, tree branches, the house across the street, Jupiter. A little sensitive to bright light but not concerned. Yo...

Re: Coming home and seeing the changes after two years…
I know at one time I bought a few tubes of the Real Shaving Company? creams from Shoppers and they were outstanding. I haven't checked in a long time what Shoppers carries anymore as I also get stuff online. Fendrihan is top notch, Italian Barber is okay too. I've also purchased stuff on Amazon, but...

Re: Cover me, I'm going in
I just had both mine done this past summer. Wasn't cheap but I wasn't skimping on eyesight that is very important to me. My cousin who is an optometrist advised me to go for the distance lens. Luckily the opthamologist is considered one of the best in the country and my vision is stunning now. I wen...

Oh yes, I'm upset. I was in that big parade back in '82 on St. Clair Avenue.
This is why I don't follow sports too much. Bottom line is always about money.

Re: Used up my Coates stash...what’s good these days?
T&H is hard to find nowadays. I still like the three Ts as well but really like the Trumper's the best. I recently bought a pot of the TOBS Shaving shop and can say I am very disappointed in the lather. I do have older pots of TOBS of all scents and they are good, I hope all the newer ones aren'...

Re: Where is Everybody?!
Thanks Sam. I also had covid last year and it was pretty rough. I guess the stress of grieving didn't help it either. I'm also going to have cataract surgery. Like you Sam, my right eye is worse than my left. I'm just waiting for an appointment with the ophthalmologist which my optometrist is bookin...

I've had the English Leather version for a while now, as well as the lime, sandalwood, and coral. I haven't seen the Eucris though.

I log in once in a while. Not much happening in my life, after my wife passed away. I don't have that motivation anymore. I've practically given up on on badgers, I use the timberwolf synthetic knot in a few handles I've put together. Razor I use the Rockwell 6s in blue along with Iridiums and Rubie...

I haven't been here in a while, I've had a rough last 4 months as I lost my wife to cancer.
Chris, I wish you all the best and I'll be thinking of you.

Re: The state of the current English Shaving soaps
I thought Crabtree had filed for bankruptcy. All the locations over here were closed,
and they were liquidating all their stock. Their shaving line sales had suffered really bad and it was already hard to find in a lot of their stores.

Re: WTB: Charles Tyrwhitt Cedar & Lemon shaving cream
I had a few tubs but they were maybe 10 years old. I had to throw them out a few years ago because they shriveled to practically nothing.
