Erik - iTunes has videos you can download, but take up a lot of space, you can also put your own photos in the Video iPod. As for ripping CDs you have to go through a computer, I use a Mac, you just play the CD, iTunes will ask what you want to do, and it will do the conversion for you to the iPod, ...

Tye - I loved the Palm 650 for ease of use for address book as it synced so well with my Mac computer. Very handy for numbers and addresses, plus it would show notes. I never used it for Calendar as I also rely on paper. That said, it did not function too well as a phone, especially with the Bluetoo...

I agree with Ichabod, the iPod is my music hall, I spent years collecting CDs (mostly Jazz), now I rarely play them on the stereo system, I listen to them using the iPod connected to my computer, using a good set of speakers. Now that's the important thing, the end of the line, speakers, the buds wh...

I agree, I have a go-back-to razor, my first buy, a '47 or '48 Aristocrat, and every time I go back to it, I say, why try out these other razors, which regularly take chunks of skin off ........but, there again, I have them so why not try them, I mean, isn't that why I bought them.......!

Are you talking about using the knife with the Proraso soap?
Yep, it scrapes off in curls - just right for melting in the warm scuttle. I also use it for hard soaps.

Oh, Canada... [/pun] EDIT: I just had a thought -- has anyone tried Proraso in one of these? Will - I have a butter knife, recommended by someone else on the forum, and scrape off enough, put in the scuttle, and away you go - the benefit is that the scrapings can be quite thin, which seem to "...

Paddy - I was after that one, but the lister had restricted sales to UK and USA, not worldwide. Great find, well done.

Nathan - that did it! Got carried away and place an order within hours of your review. I ordered the shampoo, face cream and, of course, shave cream.

I know I'm going to love the stuff......... sigh!

Sam - it might be too late for your dog, but we have switched ours over to the BARF diet, Bones and Raw Food. We buy the food frozen from the pet store, we have a choice of chicken, lamb, goat, bison, beef etc. The animal is processed whole, without skin and hair, and probably without the head, but ...

I received my scuttle on Saturday and used it for the second time this morning. I am an inveterate hand mixer and normally have no use for making lather in either a bowl or mug; however, as soon as I saw it I knew that this was not your normal piece of shaving hardware. The main reasons why I prefe...

.... for me it has to be Miles Davis. Jazz is so fulfilling, it has a depth and freshness at the same time, it is played by artists who have dedicated their lives to mastering their instrument, and then, there are the geniuses.... in my opinion, Miles is one of them.

Ahhhh........ Kind of Blue

Used to smoke everything, never left my house without two 25 packs, or, if going to the pub. Was a chain smoker. I also had a collection of pipes, and enjoyed the odd cigar. Plus the old weed from time to time. Had holes in my shirts from exploding seeds! Quit cold turkey, August 1975, not had one s...

Jeez, that's a beauty. One can certainly see where Merkur got the inspiration for their Long Handle model from, no? FWIW, I agree with John; myself, I get a much smoother, better shave from the one standard NEW model I have, then I do from my Merkur open comb. Regards, Gordon Gordon - do you think ...
