Re: How did you discover wetshaving?

Started slowly. - Not happy with Gillettte cartridge blade prices so switched to Dollar Shave Club. - Started looking at shave creams and gels at local Men's store. - Found a $14 Edwin jagger NOS brush on eBay. My tube of Proaso outlived the brush. - Then came EJ Mach 3 Chatsworth handle, - Then EJ ...

I have always thought the bell shaped curve accurately describes many of life's events including hobbies, favorite pastimes, special interests, etc.

Enjoying yourself on the downward slope is important and not always easy. Keep up the good feelings.

Re: Ask and ye shall receive - RAZORS. And BLADES

The Med Prep vs Personna Blue debate can get heated quickly. My A/C is on now and like being cool. My advanced-novice opinion from trying approx. 8 different blades - the Med Preps seem to be a good compromise of sharpness and smoothness. Works well in my mild to medium aggressive razors. Personal o...

Re: Why sandalwood?

I also enjoy Sandalwood. Probably a favorite as a single scent. My GFT Sandalwood skin food is a fixture.

Sandalwood products seem to be in the mild to medium strength range - another requirrement for me.

OK - what is the difference Hospital and Med Prep. What places like Connaught and Robbins Medical once called "Med Prep", now specify "Hospital Use" and different name.

Any chance same blade but new company?

Re: The state of the current English Shaving soaps

I have found and like Phoenix and Beau. Mild scent (which I prefer) and good face feel after my shave.

Slight plus's include: husband and wife team, nice artwork, historical name and matching scent.

I have seen the DSCOSMETIC brush on other forums. Glowing review by one of the owners and photo showing large glue bump.
