Re: Harrys Razor vs. Dollar shave club
Ya their cheaper and it's easier than going to the store but do you really need all those blades? IMV if I had to return to the cart days, I dig out my ole Trac II. It still gives a darn good shave and you can buy the real Gillette carts (non-strip) on line for a decent price. Either way it's better...

Agree. The Rocket HD is my smoothest shaver right next to my DE89. I'm a Rocket Fan and have about 7 different models. Highly recommended.

Re: The Good Old Tech
I picked up three for my stable mainly just to pass them on to my grandson's as a starter razor. One of my grandson's got his eye on a near mint gold-tone. I let him practice shave with it while I'm wacken my whiskers with my NEW SC, 54 S.S. 55 Red Tip or 64 Slim.

Re: How to Get A Better Shave On Your Neck
Thanks for the video. I changed to a cold water shave and it helped the comfort and quality of my XTG pass under my neck. I was never able to achieve a BBS in this area using warm or hot water. The cold water seems to make my skin more taut for my XTG maneuver. Also I seem to suffer less often from ...

Re: Pre shave...cleansing face
I use pre-shave soap to remove the oil. Also, I use all cold water as it seems to make my skin more taut and makes the XTG pass under my neck a lot easier. I also seem to have less irritation.

Re: Alum Blocks?
I use mainly as an astringent plus it just makes my face feel great. Although a little more costly than the larger block I use the travel alum stick (Omega). It's more comfortable and easier to rub on my face than a larger block. Also it takes up less space in my small cabinet.

Re: Miniscus tear and surgery
It happens. Ripped mine 2 years ago carrying firewood - fell. Surgery is only way to really fix. Be a lie to tell you it was a snap. Just make sure you do rehab as directed will assist in speedy recovery. For me took about 4 weeks to get over the hump. Good luck.
