I have both and use them for head and face shaving. I actually find the Progress more efficient. Adjusting the Futur just seems to open up the gap without changing the actual exposure at all. I overclock my Progress and run it at 1.5 the second time around (6.5 equivalent).

I don't find as much difference in my face shaves, but for my head shaves it makes a huge difference. I just can't seem to get the same quality of shave from a mild razor on my head. Depends on your hair and skin type. I have extremely coarse hair, and quite a bit of it. I had a hard time getting even 2 head shaves out of a cartridge before they dulled.
