Re: Italian Barber Tech Clone

They are going to be around 10 bucks. They stated the razor should be out about 7 days from now or less.

Re: Italian Barber Acquatico shaving soap

Any Italian Barber soap will beat Poraso any day. I had a red puck & it had poor slickness even Cella soap is way better than this Poraso crud IMO.

Re: Italian Barber Tech Clone

I have a Gillette Tech & it gives me a nice smooth shave. I am glad they are coming out with a clone of this great Razor. I might pick one up if the reviews are positive.

Re: Italian Barber Acquatico shaving soap

Its kind of in between soft & hard IMO. Its not overly soft but, is not overly hard either. It whips up a good slick lather from the puck.

Re: My thoughts on ARKO

Human Bloodhounds do not like Arko. It worked fine for me in the past & need to order more or order some girly boy scented soap.

Re: foam only!

The Gel dries on one side of my face before I can get there causing me to reapply it again. Its Foam for me as it does not dry out while shaving & no need to apply it twice.

Re: aggressive reputations of razors

I own a Merkur 47c & a EJ DE89. They are both good razors but, I find them a little too aggressive for me. I am currently using a Dorco plastic razor & find it to be mild for me. I got it off the Bay for 6 bucks shipped. It would also make a good travel razor IMO.

Re: BIC 1 Sensitive single blade disposables

I have used the Bic Sensitive disposables before & they are very good. They can nick you just like any DE razor. I found that a slick soap or cream applied with a brush will almost prevent nicks unlike the canned foam which I don't like at all.

Re: merkur 2 piece razors

Almost all Merkur & other razors use the zmack head. I have never had a problem with my Merkur razors.

Re: Gillette to Reintro DE Razor

I have no idea if this is true but, I read on a British forum that the new Gillette Tech razor will be made in Ohio USA.

Re: supermax blades

The Supermax blades are OK blades. I bought a 100 pack for around 8 bucks shipped from the USA. Ebay is your friend for inexpensive blades.
